2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
500 ml bottle in Germany. +1 for the cool bottle. Pours the same as a normal German Pils. Has that Southern touch to it. Sweet and very mellow. Palate is also sweet and mellow. You could have told me that it was a Helles and I would have believed you. Not bad at all.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This brew is decent when you drink it close to the source and fresh. Ship it to the United States in a green bottle and ..... meh.
Clear yellow with big white head. Light grassy malt aroma. Clean fresh malt sweetness up front with generous amount of noble German hop flavors through the finish.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
330ml bottle [another "transloca(lisa)tion" due to bartlebier]. Clear golden colour with average, frothy, diminishing, white head. Strawy aroma with hints of plain bitter hops. Taste is grainy, subtle pale malty sweetness, plain bitter hoppy overtones, slightly metallic, "asymptotically scratching the edge to soapy".

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle courtesy of Matthias, thanks! This came in a case decorated as an Advent calendar. You open a cardboard door each day in December and you get a different beer, all the way to Christmas. This one was 2 Dezember. Very plain and ordinary, though, even for a pils, with just a bit of straw in the aroma and flavor.
