Beer Fest, Toronto: Red-brown beer. Weak aromas of fruit and malt. Long bitter end. Light enough. Just good enough.

on cask at the wooly. brownish red, minimal carbonation. the aroma was kind of earthy and sweet, but weak. The taste was much of the same - a bit of acidity, a bit of malt, but not much of anything. nice with pub food, but definitely boring on its own.

Bottle. Reddish brown colour. Moderately sweet flavour. Not a huge aroma here. Okay.

(Rating #3969)

Bottled sample. Brownish red in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of pale malt, caramel, and a bit of milk chocolate. It’s got a pronounced sour/under-ripe orchard fruit thing happening on the palate, mixing with more chocolate, pale malt, and minerals. Dry, light bodied, and soft mouthfeel. Drinkable, but kinda boring.

341 refrigerated bottle purchased from the Wellington Brewery in Guelph. Pours red with a thin white head. Aroma of spices and bready yeast.Pretty great considering the low alcohol content.

Not too much to say here, just an ok beer. Some malt through the middle, but not much punch up front. Almost no carbonation. Meh.

(can) clear amber with small white head; faint aromas of fruit, bit metallic in the beginning; watery palate; watery and weak flavour, generic light beer
