Draught @ Rhino. Clear amber with little white head. Bland, fruity nose is mildly hopped. Low carbonation. Is quaffable. Sweet caramel malt. Too sweet but decent, mild and drinkable.

From cask at the Cloak and Dagger, Toronto. Thin, somewhat flavorful bitter, but not really enough. Flavors of fruit, caramel, bubble gum, pepper. Good fruit and spiciness. Very sessionable, but very light and could get boring.

341 ml bottle from brewery’s retail store. Pours a strong dark golden colour with a moderate sized off white head that dissipates but never disappears. Malty aroma with a hint of floral hops. Smooth, balanced taste. Fizzy carbonation. Short and crisp in the finish. Decent session beer.

341 ml bottle from the beer store. pours copper with a nice off white head that lasts throughout. a nice maltiness greets your nostrils as you take your first quaff. floral hops are also there to remind you that this is a craft brewed beer but they are just peeking out from behind the firm malt structure. flavours are quite tight and well thought out. there is a nice progression from begining to end but its carried out in a very subtle way. malts and hops play of each other in the typical way one would expect from a well brewed bitter. quite good for a bitter and one that il purchase again in the future.

bottle: slight amber colour, aroma was malty with a bit flower. It is a thin drink, with malts and some hops and a metalic taste that I also found with their SPA beer as well. Actually this one tastes a lot like SPA. I think I’ve hadit on draught and it was better.

On tap at Rhino. Amber with thin head. Malty aroma. Taste is a poor harsh carbonated version of Iron Duke. Bitter, not so much.
