Clear, copper coloured beer with decent white head that lasts nicely. Pleasant malt character with beautifully understated fruity esters and a gentle balancing bitterness in the finish. Creamy mouthfeel and light medium body. Very thirst-quenching. A great session beer. Bottle. mkobes (2104), paramus, New Jersey, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 18, 2004 On draft. Pours an amber/brown colour with moderate white head. I didn’t get much in the nose just some biscuity malt. This really does have a lot of lfavour for a 4% beer. At first it was fruity with a bit of bitterness on the finish. That fruitiness faded as the beer warmed and it turned into a biscuity malt flavour with hop bitterness in the finish. Quite nice. MrManning (1644), London, Ontario, Canada

Pours a slight head with a dark amber/copper body. Aroma is spicy/malty with some bitterness as well. Taste is bitter, spicy, and maybe even sweet. Nice bitter aftertaste as well. A really good light beer. Was suprised to see that it is 4%. Nice. tupalev (2612), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 6, 2004 A different beer in different circumstances. On cask, it is delightful – very flavourful nice balance, all at 4%. On draught and in the bottle, there isn’t much to distinguish it, although it is still drinkable. But if you see it on cask, give it a try. Ratings based on cask. caledonian (367), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 2, 2004 Great coppper color, small frothy head. Complex aroma, little bit of everything. Does live up to label as being flavourful for a 4% beer. Quite quaffable, would probably buy again. Sammy (3981), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
