Cask at Volo
Aroma interesting aroma , mid intense blend of malts ,honey, bitter cedar with woody feel , slight floral touches with spice notes.7+
Appearance fine haze on amber with presentable mid sized bright white top. 3+
Flavor and Palate : Soft silky , even bit buttery notes. Bitter , gentle spread on top. Smooth gently refined hop woody following of freshly cut cedar wood. As it goes juniper accents become more evident and ale its self more interesting.

Picked up a couple cans of this from the Brewery. Pours a hazy brown orange sorta colour with no head. The aroma is light candy blue berry’s, blue freezie, and maybe some ?cedar? really not too much goin on in the nose. The flavour is mild enough to be high on the drink ability scale, and complex enough to be entertaining, big on the cedar notes, from the start all the way into the finish, mingles with bits of blue berry notes here and there, super light notes of hops. Dry cedar notes in the finish. It’s a pretty cool beer. Glad i try’d it.

2011-06-25. Dark amber body with a tiny frothy head. Light fruity character blends with toasty malt character in a strange way in the aroma. Flavour is similar, fruity character that I might not call blueberry without knowing melds with the mild malty character of the base beer. Average to light palate. Okay. I did not pick out any flavours that I would immediately identify as cedar. Mild overall impression. Just okay. Cask at C’est What Festival of Small Breweries

Cask at C’est What. Amber pour. The aroma has a fairly pronounced woody cedar and some distinctly British hops. A little bit of fruity esters, but nothing that screams blueberry to me. Slightly water palate with a little bit of a soapy aftertaste. A little bit of tobacco as it comes up to temp - if the priming/carbonation had been on, it would have done a whole lot better.

[3769-20110623] Cask. Apple saucy blueberry-hint aroma. Slightly hazy, amber brown body with a quick bubbly off-white head. Blueberry apple core flavour has a lingering browned fruit aftertaste. Medium body is a little flat. Interesting enough as a sample but probably wouldn’t take a pint of it. (5/3/6/3/13) 3.0

20 oz pint at "Over the Hop", featured by the APK LIVE. A dark and slightly hazed copper with absolutely no head to speak of. Quite fruity nose of blueberry/mixed berry, alongside caramel, and floral hops. Sweet, mildly bitter and zesty. No carbonation at all. LIke drinking water. Medium light bodied, lengthy fruity and zesty hop finish. WOuld be great if it were carbonated.

On cask at the Wooly. Pours amber in colour, next to no head. Not much aroma or taste, possibly a hint of cedar chips. No blueberries at all. Bummer, was looking forward to this one.
