Bottle: Poured a very dark brown beer with a nice head with medium retention. Aroma is really pleasant with malt and roastiness. Taste is very refreshing with again lots of malts and a very nice finish of roastiness. Body is above average with OK carbonation. Overall, I was quite surprise by what I thought would be another classic English ale; it proved to had more character then expected and I’m starting to really like this brewery.

this one is sort of unusual because it has a faint smell of canned peas. that may be odd, but it only makes the beer more appetizing. this is solid beer and it tastes good........unless you are used to boring tasting macros.

From a 660 ml bottle. Dark amber ale with a thin off-white head. Rich nutty aroma. Also malty with a faint cola aroma and some fruitiness. Flavour is also nutty and well-balanced by faint bitterness. A simple, but well-crafted session beer.

Based on cask version (again, far superior to bottle with these guys). Noticeable fruity aroma with caramel hints. Good medium body, dark red colour. Bitter finish. Very nice cask ale.

Balanced, satisfactory with food. Bit of bitterness works, bit of carbonation and head. Nice aroma and dark colour and brown bottle. Understated cocoa, coffee, nutty. Tea finish. Also Had on tap and much smoother, even some hops.

Bottle- Pours a dark amber body with almost no head. Come to think of it, the head appears in random off-white creamy little blotches. Almost looks as if it is from a cask. Aroma is floral and maltiness. Taste is slightly bitter, with hops up front. Gets more and more bitter as it goes down, but that’s not a bad thing.
