DuffMan (2719), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada Jul 9, 2008 Supercan. Sweet caramel, dry leafy tea-like hops, a little on the thin side. Decent enough. mgermani (862), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Jul 6, 2008 Pours a slightly hazy brown with an off-white head with decent retention. Nice fruitcake aroma with notes of alcohol. Tastes much like my Dad’s homebrew, in that it has a wide range of malt flavours, a bit of residual sweetness, but it’s a tad watery. Good bitterness, no hop aroma or finish. Low carb, thin body. Sessionable, balanced, tastes more like a brown ale than a pale. Average. Barnabus (29), Niagara, Ontario, Canada Jul 4, 2008 Bottle from brewery. Pours a reddish-brown with a frothy head. Aroma is minimal and little to distinguish it. Really nice palate with mild carbonation. A lightly bitter finish. Ported (67), Ontario, Canada May 30, 2008 Tallboy. Dark Red/Brown with a thin tan head. Weak nose of malt and nuts. Tastes of malts, quite strong nut flavour and a little caramel, hops and coffee. Easy drinking, with a long nutty aftertaste. Quite Good. cyrenaica (435), Milton, Ontario, Canada May 26, 2008 341ml bottle

I tried this beer on May 26, 2008 at "Smokeless Joe’s" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a translucent dark reddish brown with a creamy tan coloured head. The aroma was roasted malt, some nutty character, and some caramel with brown sugar. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carb carbonation. The flavour was malted nuttiness, with some hoppiness. Very similar to a lot of English Brown Ales. austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA May 7, 2008 Perhaps the best beer I’ve had all night, which is faint praise considering I’m drinking beers made in Ontario. The quality of brewmanship in this province is utterly disgraceful. Shambolic. Even North Dakota can do better than this. The beer itself is again somewhat thin, some caramel flavor, perhaps a touch of fart essence, hints of dunkelness. Not really an EPA style beer. yarry (370), Waterdown, Ontario, Canada Apr 28, 2008 473ml can, 5% a/v
Pours a dark caramel red with a fine light brown head. The nose is mainly malt with some dark fruits in there. Taste is somewhat boozy, dark roast, and a bit like coffee. Interesting beer!
