Pours dark copper coloured with a thin head. Aroma of roasted caramel malt and light hops. Earthy and slightly burnt caramel malt taste with a decent hop bitterness.

Dark brown with a fair head. Earthy malt aroma. Hint of chocolate and caramel in the flavor amongst the expected dark ale flavors. Fairly smooth, some hop bitterness in the finish.

this one is sort of unusual because it has a faint smell of canned peas. that may be odd, but it only makes the beer more appetizing. this is solid beer and it tastes good........unless you are used to boring tasting macros.

473 ml can from OCB Discovery Pack #3. Pours a dark copper with small tan cap. Caramel malt and slightly nutty nose. Flavour has notes of caramel, nuttiness, chocolate with a slightly dry finish. Pretty decent ale.

Draught at The Rhino, Toronto - came dark brown, some ruby highlights, medium off-white head. Aroma of dark malt; some bready, earthy, and nutty notes. Flavour is similar, starting off with nutty malt which then makes way for a mildly earthy, hoppy finish. Very smooth, easily sessionable, satisfying pint. Good body, well-rounded. Great sessioner for the Fall or colder weather. Good anytime.

I was suggested this beer by a friend. Pour is dark copper brown with a medium tan coloured head. Aroma of caramel and malts and a bit of a chocalate note. Taste is malty and a bit nutty. A very plain, simple yet enjoyable brown ale.

On cask at C’est What. This was pretty average from the bottle, but fantastic on cask. The nose is very floral and that matches the lively golden colour. The flavour is soft citrus hops with floral notes, but not aggressive.
