500ml can. Poured a very dark amber. Light malt and caramel aroma. Small, fizzy, off white head with a fair amount of lacing. Head fully diminished. Moderately sweet with a lightly bitter finish. Slightly oily texture and softly carbonated. Very nice.

473ml can from the LCBO. Deep brown body with some subtle red tints and a big creamy beige head. Beautiful spotty lacing coats the glass. Some chocolate, fig and wood on the nose. Some plum is subtle. Some hop presence rounds out the finish with lower to medium carbonation.

Draft - Caramel and dark sugars with a bit of raisin. Dark clear amber with a small beige head. Malty, toffee and a dark sugary finish. Nice and really malty.

My first beer from these guys and hopefully not the last. An impressive Brown that is a dark brown with ruby tints. It has a light tan head from which you can smell leather, nuts, roast malts and earthiness. It tastes like a more rustic Ferrero Rocher with a sweet, mild chocolate taste blended well with roasted malts. The bitter finish, medium creamy body and soft carbonation make it a pleasure to drink.

Can. She poured a dark ruby brown and had good head retention. Had a wonderful aroma of nuts, leathers, and earth. Tasted of light chocolate, nuts and had some sweetness, then finished up with a coffee bitterness. Had a good creamy medium body with some mild carbonation. All and all I was quite pleased with this brew.

Big can. Looks dark. Aroma of pale and caramel and light chocolate malts, hints of nuts, and light bitter notes. Flavor the same. Average texture. Very light all around.

Can. Pours dark amber brown with a thick rocky off-white head. Aroma is mostly roasted malt with some sweetness. Flavor is not overly strong with predominate taste of coffee. Body is a little thin.

Pours a dark brown, with a thin off white head. Aroma is of roasty malts, and some caramel and toffee. The taste is a little bland, but some caramel and coffee notes shine through. Not a bad little beer, but not spectacular neither.

Pours a deep brown with a tan head. Edges of the glass show orange. Aroma is subtle with hints of chocolate and vanilla. Flavour is thin as is the body. It tastes a little of roast malts and chocolate. Finish is smooth with a hint of roast grain astringency. It just doesn’t of enough of anything. It’s light on flavour body and aroma. If one of those stepped up, I could like this a lot more.

Dark brownish pour, fairly chear, small head. Sweet malty aroma. Not getting much hops, just sweet caramel malt here. Not overly toasty or anything, so those looking for length of toast will have to look elsewhere. Easy drinking though, and it wont scare off your macro drinking friends.
