341 ml bottle courtesy pintbypint. Dark copper colour with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head. Caramel and light piny and earthy aroma. Caramel, earthy, bread, and fruity flavours. Light to medium bodied, lightly fizzy and juicy mouthfeel.

Bright orange/copper color with a taller dark beige head. Sweet roasted malt, light coffee and dark chocolate in the aromas. Nose dulls after a bit, but a nice start. Smooth flavors, just not a lot of them. Roasted nuts and caramel seem to be all I get out of this one. A mild dark malt bitterness in the finish. Thanks jerc.

Roasted malt aroma, clear ruby with medium sized toffee head. Big roasted malt, nutty with a touch of caramel flavour, pleasant bitterness as well. Nicely balanced, good after taste of the malts. A very good Ale although not exactly pale?

I enjoyed this beer, it had a toasty flavour and had hints of chocolate and coffee.

341 ml. bottle. Dark chestnut brown with a small head. Aroma of chocolate & caramel, a touch of English hops, and a slight astringency. Flavour is good; some sweetness, some roasted malt and hop bitterness, some nuttiness, and a bittersweet finish. Medium body. Nicely carbonated. Very drinkable.

The thing I like about this beer (and all Wellington products I suppose) is that they are such an easy, reliable choice. Enough flavor to always be interesting but drinkable enough that I always feel like one.....or two....or three.
