Jet black with tan head. Coffee, dark chocolate and toasted malt aromas dominate this. Medium coffee bitterness and light chocolate/malt sweetness balance out well in here. A very nice, bold flavor. Really enjoyable and easily worth trying again

Can thanks to Chad. Pours very dark brown/almost black with brown head. Nose/taste of roast chocolate, coffee, vanilla, and roasted sweet barley. Medium body.

473ml can in a tulip. Pours near black with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, a little coffee, some dough, and light bitterness. Flavor the same. Smoother, thicker texture. A solid beer.

Can LCBO: almost black pour with small brown head. Soft aromas of toasted coffee beans, sweet malts, and nuts. Bold flavours of coffee and dark chocolate covered nuts. Smooth for the style but balanced by a pleasant bitterness. Simply delectable.

473ml can. Great value. Very satisfying imperial stout for under $3 from the LCBO. A solid representation of the style. Nothing exceptional, but solid all round.

an intense tonic taste, geritol influence. Very nice beer for drinking and having in the house. Great aroma and beautiful taste.

After work pour at the Old Nick is tall, dark & handsome with a thin cap. The imperial stout washes my worries away. Not as tough as some others of the style but fine by me.

Can, shared with TylerDurden. Heart dark brown pour with a thick brown head. Aroma and flavour of blackened malt and chocolate, bitter finish with notes of coffee and ash. Solid.
