1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20
Cask in the Wellington Inn, Hull. Golden ale with white head. This was pretty bad - it has a slightly nasty bitter taste with something really off in there. Possibly notes of onion. Not vinegary though, so I assume this was how it was supposed to taste. Horrible.

My Bottom Line:
Citrus fruit and plantane suggestions ride this Blond Bitter’s crunchy cereals, leading to a balancing leafy hop bitterness.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam tops the clear golden.
-Rubber-y phenols peek in the nose.
-This is balanced and quite delicate.
-The mouthfeel is lean and conducive to big gulps.
On cask at The Cambridge Blue.
