The pour is a golden straw with a figner or so of white head. Some nice thick lacing and good carbonation. The nose is grainy with a floral hop and a bland yeast. Some light spice and malt sweetness. The taste is light malted in the middle with some sweetness and a grainy taste. The finish has a light grassy hop and a mild yeast and spice. Overall, a light but tasty session offering.
1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 whitecap (161) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 29, 2011
can purchased directly from the Wellington Brewery in Guelph. pours hazy yellow with a white head. Generic wheat beer taste. There is something indistinguishable about one of the flavors in this beer. It’s not completely generic but it tastes almost incomplete and unbalanced, like some random spice was haphazardly added. Does not live up to the reputation of the other Wellington beers.
