on tap at the Ottawa wine and food show. rather dissapointing especially coming from a "craft brewer" excessively carbonated clouded both the palate and aroma. the stereotypical pale ale flavours lingered in the background but to be honest I was so put off by the fizzy nature of my drink I would have needed a lot of convincing to see beyond it.

an utter failure in the pale ale dept. in fact the only thing it got right was that like any pale ale its not very pale, but i wont give it ratings based on colour alone

On tap at the brewery, served in a tasting glass. Pours clear amber with a tall creamy head. The head mostly remains and leaves a fair bit of fine lace on the glass. On the nose, there are notes of honey and grain, along with flowers and a hint of pale fruit. The flavour is moderately sweet throughout with a slight bitterness emerging towards the end. There are notes of honey and grain balanced with subtle hops. On the palate, it is light in body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Overall, a fairly bland light ale. 2011-10-08

Bottle purchased directly from the Wellington Brewery, pours light amber with a small white cap. aroma of citrus, fruit and malt. somewhat spicy and not very bitter. It’s nothing special but certainly great beer to have on tap when you visit Guelph--It costs less than the macros!

(can) clear amber colour with small tan head; aromas of stewed and dried fruit, start with metallic also; watery palate; watery flavour - not bad just feels weak and watered down

473mL can poured a nice amber color with a finger of white head and decent lacing. Aroma is light hops and malt. Taste is lightly sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Overall, a very enjoyable beer.

On tap at the brewery. Poured a copper/amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas and tastes of caramel, grain, some citrus, and caramel.

Canette 473ml. De couleur ambrée-cuivrée et claire. Nez de grains de céréales fraîches, léger de caramel et de houblon herbeux (herbes fraîches) avec des traces de biscuits. Moyenne-mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen et une texture légèrement aqueuse et aux notes crémeuses. Faibles notes fruitées (agrumes) lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute très rapidement un goût de grains de céréales fraîches avec un léger-moyen goût de caramel et un léger goût de biscuits puis en finale l’on retrouve une légère amertume asséchante de houblon herbeux (herbes fraîches et notes d’herbes mouillées) aux notes terreuses. Post-goût moyen et moyennement sec, légèrement amer de houblon herbeux aux notes terreuses avec quelques traces fruitées (zest d’agrumes).
