omhper (10393), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 25, 2002 Nut brown. Softly malty and nutty with some bitterness on the end.
Balanced but unremarkable. Oakes (6819), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Dec 28, 2000 This has really started to suck in the past few years. tiggmtl (4169), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Feb 11, 2005 Light, sweet honey aroma is somewhat papery. Clear orange coloured body with shy off-white head that recedes rapidly to ring. Bland, stale, lightly sweet flavour with no hop character whatsoever. Light, somewhat thin body is still in the mouth due to very low carbonation. Bottle sampled at MontreAlers brewclub February meeting. DocLock (4083), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA May 18, 2006 Big thanks to Hogtown Harry for this. Pours coppery, with aroma of bready malts, hopcitrus, and some tropical fruit, and those elements appear in the flavor as well. Medium to light body, and refreshing. JoeMcPhee (3671), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Dec 2, 2007 More a golden ale than anything, but I digress. Pale golden with a thick sticky white head. Aroma is lightly citrusy, with a kiss of lemon. Apple, pear, and zesty citrusy aroma. Light marmalade over a soft wheaty malt base. Quite fragrant. A hint of tropical fruitiness as well. Flavour is well-balanced. Soft spicy pale malt, orange and a light goldings-esque flavour on the back of the palate. More of a summertime brew, but it is quite good.
