3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
[1927-20081225] 355mL bottle. Bready grains and lots of yeast in the aroma. Clear, light orange brown body with a long-lasting creamy white head with lots of tiny bubbles throughout. More yeast grains in the flavour with bread crumbs. Medium body is fizzy. Surprisingly enjoyable and drinkable, would consider it before other provincial premium lagers.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Metallic and grainy aroma with some citrus and grassy notes. Lightly hazy golden body is topped by a constantly replenishing fizzy white head. Well balanced if perhaps a bit sweet. Some grassy, lightly spicy hops and fair bitterness. Metallic in the aftertaste. Light body with very strong crisp carbonation. I found it perhaps overly gassy and filling. Lager glass. Fridge temperature. Can (LCBO, Nov-07).

Can. Creamy head on gold. Not much for a scent. Soft body. A very approachable drinkable beer. Should be served in pitchers. Moderate hop flavour and finish. A certain sweetness and hint of an orange-peach quality.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Trailhead Wellington. Dark yellow colored ale with small head and not a whole lot of retention. Aroma is mostly subtle floral malt and very little else. Taste is a balance mix of floral malt with some dryness at the ends. This one lacks character overall and is probably not the best beer from this brewery.

473mL can poured golden color with about 2 fingers of head settling to minimal lacing. Pleasant aroma leading to a lightly sweet and moderately hopped lager. One of the better lager beers I have tried.
