Keg at The Beecraigs Country Park Restaurant, West Lothian, Scotland. Brown with cream head. Thin malted beer with a caramel flavour, somewhat soapy. I didn’t like this at all.

Quite possibly the best ale I have ever experienced. Ejoyed several after a round of golf at Portstewart, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland on a recent vacation. Maybe the atmosphere, the company, or the thirst... but definitely the beer. I won’t try to describe the flavour, you’ll simply have to sample it for yourself. It was magical.

Golden Brown color, wonderful hoppy aroma, but deceptive taste, too dull, lacks body and bitterness. Metalic aftertaste.

Very pretty looking beer, deep russet body, thick lasting creamy white lacing head. Loads of malt and rich cake fruit in the nose, but slides downhill from there. A bit dry in the first sip, with a metallic finish. Not a big fan really.

Draft in some Ireland pubs. First time was better than other times. Dark red or brown body, medium white head. Grassy, light spicy aroma. Flavor was little bit spicy, light bitter. Not bad.

On tap in Dublin. Pours a nice dark copper color with a fine creamy changing color head. A wonderful looking beer. Aroma is a storng creamy malt. Taste is smokey malt. This ends in a slightly bitter but mellow palate. Very nice.

Feels similar to drinkin guiness but with an ale taste. Very nice. Also very little hangover the next day (that may depend on the person). I reccommend trying it.
