This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

Bottle best by 31/07/09. Poured amber with a tall frothy off-white head that has some lasting and left good lacing. Aromas of banana and wheat. The flavor found mainly banana with a candy like presents and light wheat. Light body, sweet, and slightly tingly.

An interesting ale brought to my attention by Ron. Smell at 1st is grassy then overwhelming ripe bananas take over. Palate is similar but opposite, starts with ripe banana, then switches over to hops , quite a bit for an English-style. A pleasing product. Byt the way this is copper colored with minimal head and lacing.

500ml bottle. Very unusual beer. Deep copper colour with very strong banana aroma that assaults the nose as you pour. Thin white head with sweet banana notes. Everything about bthis beer is bananaish.

This beer thoroughly succeeded in what it set out to do, that is, to be banana bread in a bottle. There are much better beers out there, but in the exclusive "tastes like banana bread" group, this one takes top marks. Itís definitely not one that you want to plan an entire evening around...

And, thatís just what it is: banana beer. Nothing special about the rest of the beer, besides the banana taste. Very thin and weak, but it sure tasted like bananas.

1 pt. bottle. I didnít figure the English for a banana beer. A copper color with a solid white head which fades pretty quickly. The smell is a dead ringer for banana runts. Some bread and spice notes as well. Low carbonation with a light mouthfeel. The taste is like a loaf of banana bread, including the spice. Hints of clove and cinnamon are there too. A solid bitterness in the back helps round things out. Pretty clean finish considering all thatís going on. While I wouldnít want to drink it all night long, it is something out of the ordinary that is well put together. I would definitely have this beer again.

Location: Tried this one out of a bottle at RFDs. Nov í08

First off this was totally and completely different, not the type of beer I typically drink, but it totally works. Really enjoyed it, the nose is totally a banana bread, and the drink is a slightly fruity beer finishing with an aftertaste of exactly like the bread itself. Definately worth a try.

*Itís 100% a gimmick, and barely a beer, so if thatís something that would bother you, Iíd advise you stay away.

Copper amber with a good sized off white creamy head, some lacing. Aroma is sweet rich banana with some Flavor is sweet banana with a very creamy mouth feel, dry malty body. Banana sugar flavor lingers lightly. Not overdone and surprisingly tasty. Nice creamy mouthfeel.

Taste more like Banana Bread than any other beer Iíve ever tasted. If you find a beer that tastes more like Banana Nut Bread you should drink it instead.
