COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled, Pasteurised.
This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

1pt bottle: Poured a great golden brown color with a thin semi white head. Aroma is sweet with banana’s. Taste is dead on with aroma. Sweet and goes down easy.

I could smell this beer all day!! It smells like some delicious banana nut bread. It tastes like it too, but the taste isnt near as good as the smell on this beer. Pours nice golden brown color, but I wanted a nice head on it but it didnt have one at all.

Bottle. Orange you glad you didn’t say banana? Found this interesting beer at the local BP. Thanks Greg. It poures a clear brown amber. The aroma is what this beer is, banana bread. It taste just like it smells, this is actually exaclty what I thought it was going to be, maybe a little darker but pretty honest beer. Maybe give it to a girl, probly won’t buy again.

UPDATED: JAN 22, 2008 Bottle. This beer tastes like banana bread. Added a few points to overall score for straightforward honest product labeling. Beer pours a little thin for my taste, as I was hoping in this case for a beer I could chew on. Due to it being so thin, I think the banana flavor is just a little stronger than the bread flavor. Tastes more like a juice or soda than a beer. My advice: If you are buying beer, see this bottle, and get an instant craving for banana bread ; Buy the beer as it will satisfy that craving (banana bread is hard to find in a pinch). Otherwise, ignore it.

16oz bottle, provided by Gary Jones. Amber pour and very clear. Malty and bready aroma. I guess you could say bananas. I thought the flavor was the same. Very bread like and suppose you can see the banana in this but it’s mostly bread. Maybe some biscuit like grain too, but that’s it. Carbonated but light mouth feel.

[Bottle] BUBBLY! Bubbles from beginning to end. Pours a tanish color and smells exactly like you’d expect it including a nutty afterscent. Taste seems tainted by the amount of bubbles. I’d love a taste of this with a lot less carbonation. The Beer actually doesn’t have much of the sweetness I was expecting, but the bitterness seems like an afterthought. Too much hop taste than I would’ve expected. Seems like a gimmick beer that doesn’t come through. Something to try once and move on.

Pours golden honey w/ a good frothy head that reduces slowly to a spattered canopy and a fluffy lace. Strong aromas of fresh baked banana bread. Medium nectar w/ ample carbonation. This beer is well bittered w/ pronounced banana bread flavors. Not sweet in the least bit. The finish is birttered nicely leaving a malty fruity flavor to linger.

Possibly my new favourite beer. A medium density but packed with a refreshing flavour and a tangy after taste. Carbonation is just right for me.

500ml bottle. Pours orange clear though. Head is about a finger deep with a tan color. Nose smells a lot like what I’d expect from Banana Bread. Taste is sweet and light and tastes a bit like banana but overall its a big bowl of ehh for me. Guess this could have lasted longer since i tried this but that said ain’t seeking this out again.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more bubbly beer. Pours thin and and yellow with a quickly dissipating head. Strong aroma of dried bananas and cloves. Very malty sweetness, followed by bananas. Dry, bread finish with a slight hop bitternes. I really enjoyed this.
