Clear light amber with an ok head. Smells of banana bread, however scent is slightly strong and artificial. Taste is dry and nutty with banana flavors present.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Another fine selection from 99 Bottles in Federal Way. Pours gold with a quickly vanishing head. Banana is apparent at the first sniff, then blends to a light fruit scent. Strong banana flavor, with a balanced malt. Hop finish is a welcome contrast to the sweet flavor. The medium palate works well for this beer, as a thicker one might overwhelm the tongue. If youíre looking for a beer to go with a fruit dish, this might not be too bad of a choice. But Iíll have to try that combination to be sure.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Golden colored, minimal foamy head. Aroma is banana boat sunscreen. Flavor is light malt and sweet banana. I like the idea behind this beer, and it didnít turn out too bad. Soft on the palate, somewhat light bodied. Overall seems alright.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear copper with very little head. The bit of head that is there is white foam but very quickly dissipates. Aroma is definite bananas. The first thing that comes to mind is Banana Boat sun block. Definite malts. Flavor is of banana and sugar with hints of vanilla and walnuts. Banana bread is the best way to describe the flavor. What is surprising is that it really isnít an overly sweet beer....banana flavors and spice but balanced by the malts. Medium carbonation and light body.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
19.25 oz bottle-A clear copper body with a small white covering for a head. Aroma of bananas and slight malt. Taste of this light to medium bodied brew is of banana on the front end then it goes into a different banana taste on the back end. Does finish dry. Not a bad brew.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear golden color with a thin head. Very powerful blast of banana on the nose and taste. This is very much as advertised. It tastes like liquid banana bread: bananas, whole grain wheat, maybe a bit of nuttiness. Not bad at all.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sampled at Cellars Wine & Spirits in St Paul, Minnesota. Pours a clear copper amber brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissipates to a fine film and white ring. Aroma of banana bread with some roasted walnuts, and multi-grain malt, Taste is medium bodied, some light carbonation with flavors of a dry banana bread with a touch of sugar, dry biscuit malt and some imitation banana. Finish is semi-sweet, a light banana and grain aftertaste with no bitterness. An interesting concept but not one of my favorites. I rather have banana beer bread instead.
