500ml bottle; Nose of banana and some vanilla cookie breadiness; copper with a small off-white head; flavor of banana bread, some sweetness, and light hop bitterness; wish I had some of the cask version to try!

Bizzare beer. Initial aroma is definitely banana. Inital taste on the palate is quite nice, rounded, bready, then the banana aftertaste hits you.... not for me...

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
500 ml bottle, best by 11/30/07. Clear amber with an off white head. Nose really is banana bread, with a tinge of tropical fruitiness. The banana flavor falls off in the flavor a bit, taking a back seat to the bready flavors and sweet malt. A light bitter nuttiness in the finish. Interesting, well done, but not really up my alley.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bronze, slightly cloudy with a gorgeous creamy-frothy head. Aroma of mild fresh banana, quite natural smelling. I am astonished at how natural tasting the banana is in this beer. Medium-bodied with a perfect malt backbone to support the banana flavor and some wheatiness. Would only suggest they use more biscuit malts to increase the breadiness, which was faint at most.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
Light golden color, thin white head. Nose is mostly banana flavored laffy taffy with small hints of yeast. I have a hard time believing REAL bananas were used in the brewing process. Light in body with a sweet and sour finish. Not what I expected. Pretty terrible.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle - Medium head, small but static head. What an aroma, real banana, not synthetic though, smells like over ripe bananas with a floral bouquet. Initial taste is that of banana however that soon fades and the hop malt flavour shines through with a sweet, long finish. Very enjoyable.

Bottle, $3.99 at Wine Warehouse, Charlottesville, VA. Pours light amber with an inch of white head. Smells just like banana bread. Flavor is banana bread... wow, they nailed what they were going for. Spices & bananas just in a liquid form. Nice.

The best banana beer iíve tried, not that iím into that sort of thing, not that thereís anything wrong with that..ití just...get a bottle, try it but take it easy with it and sandwich it in with other full-flavor ales.the banana taste is actually a lot lighter than you would expect after a sniff,,,but ítis still strong,it still blows away 90% of fruit íeavy lambics
