COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled, Pasteurised.
This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

Dark golden with medium head. Aroma is malty, with an abundance of banana bread and spice. Flavour is malty sweet but a tad artificial tasting.

(Bottle at Score Sportsbar in Gothenburg, Sweden)
Golden honey color, with a small white head. Very much ester banana sweet scent. Clear banana in the flavor. Good bitterness. The banana is not as dominant in the taste as in the scent.

A dark chocolatey brown beer with a thick creamy head. A distinct banana nose, and a sweet malty aroma follows. Quite a dry hoppy flavour with the hint of bananas again. A rich malty sweetness to the finish. (Bottle).

Very strong banana flavour that tends to be rather like perfume, a little fake and exaggerated. Good, but too short middle taste, ended with another dose of banana in the aftertaste. A curiousity though not a great discovery.

Smells like candy bananas. Very weak head. Gentle mouthfeel with a nice trailing banana-ey flavour (strangely enough!). I have mixed feelings about fruit beers and lean towards disliking them, but this one aint bad.
