This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

Very simple palette, banana is there but not very exciting. British in flavor

Medium, dense light-yellow head, not very stable over copper beer. Nose of ripe banana and toasted malts, honey. Sports a nose not unlike some commercial faro’s. Dry-ish, gouache paint, giving it a bit artificial flavour, and just a vague hint at banana(skin). Finish is slightly bitter. Light body, feels rather better carbonated. Ho-hum.

Damn book. Aroma is banana, metallic, bready, medicinal, eh. Appearance is golden copper, light beige to off white head that fizzled away quick, clear. Taste is bitter malt, the banana flavor is there and weirdly not on my tongue but in the air behind the liquid, metallic, some hops. Mouthfeel is light to medium body, crisp carbonation, banana and metal aftertaste. Overall, not as bad as I thought it would be, but not even close to being good.

The mild banana flavour is perfectly balanced with the rest of the beer. Although it tastes somewhat artificial. No off flavours, but absolutely zero head formation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
