This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

Bottle. Aroma is bready and malty with a hint of banana. The flavour of the banana comes through in the taste together with a touch of bitterness. I kinda think I shouldn’t like this but I do.

Smells and tastes like banana bread! Bit of a "sting" on first taste, but easy to drink.

500mL pours a fairly clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is hugely skunked, with pot, skunk cabbage and some strange herbal vegetal notes. Flavour is totally different, with notes of butterscotch, banana, and vanilla. Very bready with a dominant vegetal and banana finish. Not an atrocity, but it’s really bad.

Bottle from OPC in Busan for 5200 KRW, served in a pint glass. It pours an orange Amber with a light beige head. The aroma is fruity banana bread. Light bodied and incredibly fruity banana with malty caramel and bready notes. Tasty and it is what it says it is. A fun wacky beer in my opinion though not one I'd drink regularly. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma has lots of sweet caramelised banana. The flavour of over ripe bananas is too sweet for my taste.

Wanted to like this but .......no. Afraid the banana taste for me was just wrong. Adding more just to up load.

Appearance: clear pale amber with a short, short-lived head, no lacing. (2/5) Aroma: banana, toffee, bready yeast. (4/10) Taste: moderate-strong sweet, mild bitter. (4/10) Palate: medium-light body tending to watery, moderate carbonation, off-dry slightly metallic finish. (2/5) Yes, it sort of tastes like banana bread. Extremely sweet and artificially-flavoured banana bread. I suppose it’s OK as a one-time alternative to a macro lager, butt that’s about it. (8/20)

Bottle to shaker glass Yeah, banana alright, which overpowers most of the rest of the aroma other than ’English Ale’, so perhaps bread and grains too. Crystal clear amber with a thin and creamy white head and decent effervescence. Taste is banana, grains, a little bitterness. Not that good, if I’m honest.
