COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled, Pasteurised.
This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

Pours out a dark golden/near amber hue with a small white head. Big estery nose of ripe banana, and sugary sweet pale malts with just a hint of brown sugar. Body was odd; starts weak and nearly stale tasting, but then washes in with a full body and warming balance and sweetness. Flavor was a little shabby, like candied fake banana esters, bread yeast, with toffee and mineral water blandness. Overall kinda sweet, a little bitter, and fake tasting. Not all too much like banana bread, needs more bready sweetness and brown sugar.

Very good beer. The banana flavor is very subtle so the beer is not too sweet at all. Overall itís very crisp and refreshing. Great summer day beer

Pours amber with a frothy creamy head. Aroma is awesome bananas and heady malts. Taste doesn't match scent, much more bland. Not bad; definitely not great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Large amount of banana flavor with some extra bitterness at the end to help balance out the sweetness. Easy drinking, Itís what it says it is and it somehow works...somehow.

Bottle to cervoise. Dark copper color. Off-white head dissipates to ring. Aroma of banana, spice, caramel. Taste is caramel malts with banana bread, banana candy, some spice, and cracker. Medium mouthfeel. Okay carb. Finish is like banana bread with a bit of cereal.

Bottle pours a minimal tan head on a nice amber body without any lacing. Smells of malt and yeast. Taste of a water soaked banana bread. Very thin body.

Bottle: Light brown, mellow amber color with good clarity & surprisingly no real head, just a faint beige collar. Aroma is... very, VERY light. Slightly toasted malts, bready yeast, a small hint of earthy hops. Honestly no real banana to the aroma. Flavor is kind of similar... less hops, though. Mostly just toasted malt, the smallest hint of caramel & some breadiness. I guess thereís a touch of banana in the very finish, but it is FAINT. I would never guess this to be banana bread based beer. Thin body. Passable at best.
