COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled, Pasteurised.
This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

Pours a clear amber color, topped with a nice, although rather small white head. Bready aroma with some likeable banana notes. Malty taste, somewhat bready, again with banana notes in there. Light bitterness, but some banana notes still left in there. I like it, not bad at all.

Poured a light amber colour with a thin head. Aroma is of light bready notes and clove. Flavor is of bready malts, banana and nuts. Light to medium bodied brew with a slight creamy texture and light bitterness on the finish.

Bottle. Pours a clear filtered amber colour. Aroma of bananas, faint spice/clove, bread. Think this one is just not for me.

Very slight aroma of banana with some bread. Pours a clear light amber colour. Light bitter taste. Light body, creamy texture, with a definite banana finish. Interesting.

Okay looker when poured. Perhaps just a tad bit spritzy looking but foamy head whic dissipates. Aroma doesnt show banana but it comes to fore at back of mouth. Extremely dry finish as banana flows over tongue. Weird but didnt dislike this as much as i feared i might. One only at a time though or i guess it will last forever in my mouth and hopefully wont keep burping banana all night haha

Weird beer, but it kinda works. Bit banana medicine, bit caramel but it flows over the tounge well. Not going to spend too much time waffling on about this cos its beer Marmite with LOVE and HATE tattoo’d over its knuckles. I’d give it a blast again but not too soon. Good to show off to mates.

Wells Wells Wells another fake tasting beer. It looks great as it pours a clear copper with a small head. Aroma is of bananas and nuts. Tastes of sugar, nuts, and banana medicine. Has a lighter body with average carbonation and a fake banana finish. Don’t know when this beer is appropriate, maybe never.

Copper color , medium white head. Banana dominates in aroma . Moderate bitterness in taste , with notes of English hop and banana. Maybe too extraordinary for me.

So hard to rate....I guess this is spot on for what it wants to be? But at the same time, it’s a brutal banana contraption that shouldn’t exist. I mean "why?". It looks cute, a handsome copper with a white head. It smells like banana bread and tastes the same, quite sweet with a mild bitterness. It has all the palate requirements for style but never again.

500ml bottle from Morrisons. Pours clear amber, short-lived white head. Aromas of banana sweets and farts. Taste is ripe banana and sugar. Grim. I remember having the cask version a few years ago and it being much better, this is poor.
