COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled, Pasteurised.
This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

I actually really enjoyed this one... smelled and tasted JUST like banana bread like my mom makes. Pours a very bubbly amber color with a medium shite head. 1 pt. 3.25 oz. bottle.

Bottle pours a minimal tan head on a nice amber body without any lacing. Smells of malt and yeast. Taste of a water soaked banana bread. Very thin body.

Bottle. Pours a reddish amber with a thin but lasting tan head. Sweet aroma of banana. Taste: some bitterness, like herbs - warms to banana, some bread like malt. Finishes with a banana / slightly bitter finish. Pretty good, someting different, nice flavour.

Light golden color, thin white head. Nose is mostly banana flavored laffy taffy with small hints of yeast. I have a hard time believing REAL bananas were used in the brewing process. Light in body with a sweet and sour finish. Not what I expected. Pretty terrible.

Deep amber color. Smells lightly of hops and strongly of banana and cream. Tastes extremely sweet for a beer, like banana, pound cake, malt and hops. Very bready. Tasty, but rather thin and watery to be truly enjoyable. Nice effort though, and props for originality.

This is like a banana pudding in liquid form. I have to say this is one hell of a beer, no clue why this got a low rating? I am a huge fan of bananas and this is great stuff! It kind of tastes like the banana flavored runts! Awesome!

I don’t understand the ’Gentle nose of Banana’ portion of the description. Holy mackerel, its like getting hit in the face with a buncha’ bananas. Color is very nice. Highly carbonated. I didn’t care for this much.

Pretty much what it promises. Banana flavor at first with a hoppy, lingering bitter finish.

Not as bad as I would have thought. Gentle brown color, smells like hurrrr bananas. I chugged this one quickly so I wouldn’t have to taste much lol.

You bastards! How dare you make my all but perfect beer. Who do you think you are over there at Wells & Youngs? Are you the bastard child of a franziskaner monk and a Ninkasi herself? Pours a B-E-A-utiful sparkling red/amber with just enough head and aroma of pilzner and perfectly ripe bananas. Then it drinks exactly like it smells. NO small task in beer making. OUT FN STANDING!
