This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

Pours amber with white head. In aroma - surprise, surprise - bananas, bread and some spice. Taste - liquid bread with bananas. A little bit sweet, but really something different to drink. So good beer ...

Bottle to cervoise. Dark copper color. Off-white head dissipates to ring. Aroma of banana, spice, caramel. Taste is caramel malts with banana bread, banana candy, some spice, and cracker. Medium mouthfeel. Okay carb. Finish is like banana bread with a bit of cereal.

500mL Bottle -- Pours brown with an off-white head. Where it smells just like banana bread it tastes more like banana peel. The flavor is bitter and off-putting.

Rolig banan & bröd ale. Man känner banansmaken men får mest associationer till smakämnen av banan tex lite skumbanan. Även i doften. Relativt söt. Dock dålig kropp å ingen eftersmak. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

5.2%ABV. Poured out of the bottle a dark clear amber color. 14ºSRM. Nose is full of sweet darkly roasted malts and of course, banana or banana-like esters. There are also hints of sweet pipe tobacco. Has nice nutty flavor like toasted almonds, lightly browned wheat toast, graham crackers balanced with some bright carbonation, not overwhelming. Finish is slightly woody with nutmeg, cloves and of course a slightly sweet vapor on the tip of the tongue. Strangely goes on the favorites list.

Sweet banana bread flavor. Very watery feel. Little to no aroma. It accomplishes the flavor they were after but failed to incorporate it into an enjoyable beer.

I wont deny there is a bit of an excitement. But after considering that this is just provoked by the exoticness of the ingredients, well, thats about it. Horrible malty alcoholic aroma, with yes banan and honey notes, but added to the soup rather than cooked with. Anyway, just for the experience I might say. No head, no proper carbonation either.
