This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

Pours a pale amber. Little to no head. Definite banana and brown sugar. Reminds me of banana bread. Hints of walnuts. Smooth start and the carbonations takes into affect. Tangy after taste with banana residues. Creative style but not my cup of tea.

Pretty pale amber color, with over-the-top white foamy head. Great light aroma. Nicely fruity flavor, balanced, complex. Exceeeded my expectations and good enough to drink on a regular basis. Not recommended with food as it is strongly flavored and seems a meal to be enjoyed on its own.

Pours a clear dark golden color with almost no head. Literally smells like liquid banana bread. Nice malty flavor with the banana flavor much more subtle than the smell would suggest. Moderately high carbonation with a dry finish.

This beer it’s all about aroma and palate satisfaction. Rather disappointing on taste. The smell of banana bread its very appealing, however it lacks the same experience when tasted. It almost resembles the taste of the runts banana candy.

An extremely lightweight malty ale with a stong undercurrent of banana. Slight metallic aftertaste that isn’t too great but overall smooth and drinkable with a nice banana bonus. Interesting choice from Wells.

Bottle. Pours a clear filtered amber colour. Aroma of bananas, faint spice/clove, bread. Think this one is just not for me.

I’m a sucker for this delicious beer. The light banana on the aroma and taste is balanced to perfection. Has a decent amount of bitterness and hoppiness to make this sessionable.

I like this one. Strong banana smell as soon as the bottle is opened. Amber beer with not much head. Fairly carbonated. Banana taste disappears quickly on drinking and palate is a little thin. I think the bananas would work better with a more full bodied beer. Btw I don’t reckon the banana flavour is artificial - ripe bananas have a definite "chemical" smell to them.

Bottle, 5.2 abv. I really enjoyed this beer. Wonderful aromas of fresh banana. Heavy on the carbonation (a little less would have been good, but still good). Banana flavor came out more as the beer warmed up in my glass. Left me wanting another one.
