COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled, Pasteurised.
This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

Taste more like Banana Bread than any other beer I’ve ever tasted. If you find a beer that tastes more like Banana Nut Bread you should drink it instead.

It is what it says it is. Tastes like banana. If you’re a snob looking for hoppiness or malt, there are plenty to choose from. This has a mild flavor, with an awesome banana kick. Good stuff

An incredibly balanced beer. I was afraid it would be a gimmick or novelty beer but it was wonderful. A tad of the bitter side, but very drinkable. Not the most complex npbeer ever, but one of my favorites none the less. The banana aroma is incredibly strong yet the flavor is more of a hint.

Better than i expected. Little sweet lots of aroma. Mild banana flavour. Beautiful colour. 5.2%. $3.50 for a 500ml bottle in Ontario Canada. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a nice color but does not have enough carbonation. Smells delicious and tastes pretty good as well. I think overall this beer could be improved though. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Unique. It is much like the tastes of a descent, but not outstanding, ale was mixed with a descent, but not outstanding, banana bread. Sweeter then the average beer, but not overly so. Was quite pleased as I expected something overly sweet and artificial, and got something which was very balanced and reasonably complex.

This was perhaps the worst idea ever. This dark ale is terrible. I like banana bread. I like beer. When my friend offered me one at the bar, I thought ’why not?’ I should have answered that question with ’because it’s a bad idea’. The beer is too dry, and the banana flavour is not ripe, but rotten.

Bizzare beer. Initial aroma is definitely banana. Inital taste on the palate is quite nice, rounded, bready, then the banana aftertaste hits you.... not for me...
