COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled, Pasteurised.
This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

This beer smells strongly of bananas. It has a malty taste and tastes more like beer than you expect from the taste. A very unique beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500ml bottle, work leaving present. Sparkling orange gold colour, white foam head and aroma of banana, fruity, vanilla. Taste is sweetish bready malt & banana flavour, with caramel, toffee, vanilla notes and light bitterness. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry bready earthy finish. Quite OK.

Well, it’s definitely a banana bread beer. Overly sweet focus on banana flavor without really holding up the beer end of things. Meh.

Bottle tasted at home. Pours a clear amber brown color with a small off white head. The aroma has quite a bit of banana, lightly nutty, caramel, some sweet bread. The flavor has banana, lightly nutty, caramel, some strange bitterness that seems out of place, hints of metallic and chemicals, all in all, about what I expected.

Reddish golden beer with small off white head that retains a thin covering throughout. Well carbonated. Aroma of banana flavoured sweets and hopped beer. Flavour is like banana cake. Initially like a heavy desert but there’s a metallic bitterness that offsets the sweetness and seems a bit at odds with the rest of the package. Bready dry finish is light and moreish. Takes a while to get used to but overall enjoyable.

Aroma of cheap banana bread. Leaves, malt and spice. Flavor is artificial banana but not overpowering with sweetness like so many other over aggressive fruit beers. Alcohol feel is short and flawed.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber colour with a fizzy white head. Aroma is sweet of bready malts, banana, toffee, some nuttiness and cloves, but mainly banana foam sweets. Taste of bready malts, banana, caramel, grain and slightly metallic. Medium bodied, fizzy carbonation and a watery texture. Mainly sweet with a dry bitter, grainy finish. I do enjoy banana in beer, this is decent but too highly carbonated and watery to be really enjoyable, which is a shame.

Golden yellow . Aroma of banana and wheat. Tastes of sweet banana. Not bad.
