This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

Often have this along with their Chocolate Stout. Lovely little flavour to it, and it’s clean and that. Below the banana is a pretty polite regular session beer.

500ml Bottle: Pours a clear copper with good frothy white head. Aroma of ripe bananas and slight maltiness. Tastes slightly sweet but finishes dry with a definite artificial banana flavour. Bitterness is medium to low with a medium body. Low carbonation. Definitely not a sessionable beer, but a nice once-off.

bananas is the first taste....followed by lightly sweeted malts and a pretty firm bitter...one of the better banana beers i’ve had...pretty good

Bottle pours a clear copper with a thin white head and light lacing. Odd aroma of banana. Flavor is banana and soda with a light metallic taste. Leaves a light beer metallic orange aftertaste. Mediocre at best.

Bottle - Pours a dark gold to amber, white fizzy head. Unmistakable banana bread nose. Flavors of banana bread, light fluffy pancakes, bubblegum, a hint of vanilla, but mostly that medium malty mouth. Mild hops. Aftertaste of baseball card bubblegum.

Pours a dark golden, very clear with a very loosely packed off white head and lacing. Aromas of spiced caramelised bananas. Palate is medium light, with medium carbonation. Flavour is caramelised banana with bready malt and very light bitterness. Slightly watery, but otherwise does what it says on the label. Couldn’t drink a lot but really does taste like banana bread.

From the bottle. Pleasant banana aroma, with a hint of bread. Clear and golden color with almost no head. Definite banana and bread taste with crisp hop in the beginning. Very thin, though, with a lingering aftertaste.

This beer had a nice aroma, bananas of course, however it was the smell of banana flavoring that caught my attention, kinda like banana candy or pudding. So i gave it a little lower mark in that area. It poured a nice copper body with plenty of carbonation and decent lace. Flavor banana and malts, i felt if the malts were roasted they might give it that nutty flavor completing the banana bread experience. Overall it was o.k., kind of interesting.
