4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Banana bread in a bottle. Floral banana notes in both aroma and taste, supported by a bed of bready malts. Notes of brown sugar and buttery nuttiness linger at the sides, creating an overall profile of fresh-buttered banana bread with an added sprinkling of brown sugar for good measure.
Nothing overpowers, and every note works hand in hand with each other in both aroma and taste. Mouthfeel begins crisp at the tip of the tongue, but mellows in a rich smoothness by the end of the taste.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle pours a clear copper with a thin white head and light lacing. Odd aroma of banana. Flavor is banana and soda with a light metallic taste. Leaves a light beer metallic orange aftertaste. Mediocre at best.

3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle - Pours a dark gold to amber, white fizzy head. Unmistakable banana bread nose. Flavors of banana bread, light fluffy pancakes, bubblegum, a hint of vanilla, but mostly that medium malty mouth. Mild hops. Aftertaste of baseball card bubblegum.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a dark golden, very clear with a very loosely packed off white head and lacing. Aromas of spiced caramelised bananas. Palate is medium light, with medium carbonation. Flavour is caramelised banana with bready malt and very light bitterness. Slightly watery, but otherwise does what it says on the label. Couldn’t drink a lot but really does taste like banana bread.

From the bottle. Pleasant banana aroma, with a hint of bread. Clear and golden color with almost no head. Definite banana and bread taste with crisp hop in the beginning. Very thin, though, with a lingering aftertaste.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
This beer had a nice aroma, bananas of course, however it was the smell of banana flavoring that caught my attention, kinda like banana candy or pudding. So i gave it a little lower mark in that area. It poured a nice copper body with plenty of carbonation and decent lace. Flavor banana and malts, i felt if the malts were roasted they might give it that nutty flavor completing the banana bread experience. Overall it was o.k., kind of interesting. 1.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
Not much head, some lacing. Nice colour, very clear, lots of CO2 bubbles streaming through. Aroma of banana, but also generic piss lager, banana esters and some hops but these two scents don’t go well together, fights with each other too much. Taste however wasn’t as bad in this aspect though. Mellow banana flavour. Watery body. 5.2 abv but tastes really light, watery, dry. Body is too thin, but then it’s also fizzy. Spicy sweet, a little bitter at the end. Leaves mouth feeling slimey and a bit metallic. Not great, probably wouldnt get this again but it was alright/interesting to try as an offbeat beer. Too thin and one-dimensional, needs to be balance by other flavours to give it complexity, maybe some nuttiness or spice to pair it with would help.
