COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled, Pasteurised.
This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

Bottle @ home, picked up in the 11.2 oz format from RJs. Thanks RimJob! I haven’t had this brew in probably six years. Yay! Pours a caramel orange appearance with a moderate cream colored head. Yep, there sure is some fricken banana in those. Maybe a touch of metal and some apple. Kind of twangy flavor. Light bitterness. A touch of acidity on the finish. Yeah, the metallic notes are the real reason this beer doesn’t chug too well. Some fruit in the flavor and not overly offensive besides the metal with a crisp, dry lingering, banana bread finish.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein orangegelbes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, leicht nach Banane, fruchtig. Geschmack malzig, fruchtig, bananig.

Bottle to shaker glass. Pour deep golden. Not much head, no lacing. Smells like banana. Tastes like bananas Light carbonation, light body. Watery. Finishes semi-sweet. Well I tried it.

Clear brown/amber pour with very minimal head that leaves almost no lace. Nose is a mix of sour grainy notes and banana bread with a lot of cola type notes. The banana bread comes through a lot better on the palate but there’s still a lot of underlying cheap grain notes. I wouldn’t pay for this again.

~Banana in the aroma, with nutty breadiness. it does smell like banana bread with some hop spiciness. Quite nice really. ~Pours an orangish amber color with quickly disappearing bubbly white head. ~Banana throughout in flavor even in the burp with bready nuttiness. There is a flavor I cant quite pinpoint that is a bit off putting. ~medium bodied with high CO2, lingering banana and weird finish. ~I liked the aroma. Something seemed off in the flavor and CO2 was way too high. Probabaly quite a bit better in a cask. Wouldnt buy again in a bottle

Bottle, gift from Andrew. Clear amber body with a thin white head. Lie carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of banana bread, copper and milk chocolate. Flavour of chocolate banana sweets and metal. Thin body with a watery texture. No fizz. Nice for the first few sips then it gets a bit cloying.

Bottle. Rich copper-orange colour, no fizz, no head; Tastes like freshly made banoffee muffins - very ripe bananas with a toffee sweetness. I’d drink it again.
