This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

One word: WEIRD! Not bad, necessarily, I just don’t know what to make of it. If you’ve ever been sitting around, eating banana bread, and thought to yourself, "This is pretty good, but it would be even better if I could have this without chewing AND it would get me drunk!" than this is the beverage for you. If not, this is probably not be for you. Bananas explode out of the glass in the nose.

From bottle. Wow this beer actually smells of banana but turns a little foisty. Clear orange amber with thin head. I have to say this beer is unique for me, a fruit beer that actually does taste like what it says. Its banana with a bitter tang. Little gassy. I would love to rate this beer higher as it is banana beer, however Im not a lover of bananas. Sorry.

Amber beer with banana aromas. Agressively carbonated and rather thin. Smells good, but it could be a much bigger beer.

Bottle. Skunky sweet banana aroma with a tiny bit of brown sugar. Clear copper under a bubbly, lasting white sheet and ring. Sweet, but not overly, banana and sweet base malt flavour with very low bitterness and watery. Light body, moderate carbonation, lingering banana.

Nose is lagerish with a good hint of sweet banana and caramel. Dark golden, bright and clear. Taste is: a light ale with banana, caramel, light hops. Finishes with light bitterness. Reminds me of crap beer I drank when I was young (but with bananas thrown in).

Pours a transparent amber with little head. Slight smell of stale bananas. Taste is heavy on bananas and a bit metallic. Banana aftertaste lingers a bit. Not a great beer but rather average. Worth a try.

Bottel. Pours an orange amber with light head. Flavor of oil and rancid bananas. Flavors are similar though more palatable. Overall just unique. Not worth trying again.
