Pours a light amber color with thin white head that fades quicklt. Aroma is of unripened banana and light frassy hops. Taste is much the same with a one sided flop of banana. Blech! I guss there is a market for this crap but not me. To try this, mush a banana in you bud light and enjoy.

Being a huge banana fan I was definitely excited to try this beer. It was very, very disappointing. The aroma is definitely heavy banana with some spice undertones. Body is extremely thin and carbonated to the point of negatively affecting the taste. If this beer was a well made stout, porter or even a brown ale with a fuller body it would probably be delicious. Instead it tastes like a Bud with a banana jammed into the top of the bottle.

Sampled at Forest City in CT. Appears dark gold with a clear body and large head. Aroma of banana cream pie and fine sugar. This beer starts with sweet malt and ripe banana but comes unraveled by the mid-palate, which is a watery, minerally, and semi-bitter mess. Finishes with slight bitterness and hardly any lasting impression.

Bottle from Freddy. Pours a brown color with a small beige head that quickly diminishes to a fine film. The nose is deceptive with banana, spices and then is followed something chemically with cooked vegetables. The taste, like the aroma, gives a good first impression; there is banana, allspice, and cinnamon, but then gives way to nail polish remover. The mouthfeel is a bit thin. The finish is dry and shows chemical off-flavors. Overall: I had great expectations of this beer, I love banana bread, but this brew just did not deliver. I also take issue with the fact that a 5.2 abv beer is a strong ale.

Bottle. Clear amber with white head. Well, it tastes bananas :-) Interesting experiment but maybe not that good. It is not bad, refreshing and quite thin body. Is it really an ale?

Interesting beer with banana all over the place. Actually better than the expectations (low). The banana flavor is there all right, but it marries the malts and hops pretty good. Fun to have tried it, but its going to take a while before I buy it again.

Had this at a beer tasting and my low expectations were met. This stuff is not not my thing...I don’t like bananas in the first place so this kinda ruins something I do like...BEER! Even if I did like both....say like chocalate ice cream and real spicy chili.....doesnt mean i want them in the same bowl...kinda gross.
