COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled, Pasteurised.
This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

I am quite literally, bananas, for this beer. Do take the time to drink it from a proper beer glass (drinking this in the bottle though tastey won’t open the full range of flavors). You’d expect a beer named for a banana bread to be cloyingly sweet, however, this offers a nice balanced savory note with a hint of banana and a very well rounded complexity. Not too sweet, not too tart, not too bitter. This beer is fabulous. It’s my new, go-to beer. When others taste too bitter, too sweet, too --- anything. Well’s Banana Bread Beer tastes like absolutely heaven (and the grocer says it’s been very popular-- others must agree).

Actually does have a nice legitimate banana aroma and flavor. This flavor is mixed with nice spicy hop and a it of malt backbone to come out with a pretty even-keel brew that isn’t bad at all.

Pours a golden/copper colour with a medium white head that thins quickly. The aroma is of bananas and other sweet, fruity esters. There is the slight flavour of bananas and malt with a slightly bitter aftertaste which is not overly palatable. Overall this beer is nothing special.

Deep orange. Minimal head. Nice lacing. nose of candies, banana, lemonade. Light to medium body, Medium sweet cola-like taste. A hint of bitterness. Quite a unique brew.

It really didnt taste brilliant. I could probably finnish off a half pint but no more than that. The palette too wasn’t brilliant and left a horrible after taste. I found that it really doesn’t go well with a donner kebab with garlic Mayo. I was quite disappointed really. Although it started off well, until you could really taste the bannana. It would probably go very nicely with bannana cake/ bread or anything with banana in it. Overall, I wouldn’t drink it again

500 mL bottle. Pours amber with a thin white head. Weirdly metallic on the nose, then bready malts and synthetic banana flavor. Dry and thin with moderate carbonation and a tinny finish. Awful.

12 oz. bottle. Bronze color, with a small, beige head. The aroma is fake banana, cloves, brown bread, and syrup. Very sweet, with a little yeastiness. Medium body, and a bit sticky. Overall, this a tasty, but gimmicky beer.

Pour out of bottle, clear orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of banana, honey, touch of grass, slight biscuit and bread, hints of yeasty notes as well. Taste is a mix of bread, biscuit, some caramel into hints of grass, nice banana and banana bread notes with a hint of nuts, finishing sweet.

A bit too carbonated. Thin mouth feel. Initial taste of bananas and then spices. However after a few sips it becomes repetitive. Also leaves a sticky feeling after each sip. Interesting but not sessionable.

Clear amber color, thin white head. Lots of banana in the nose, almost like Bananko. Light to medium body, average carbonation. Taste is mainly sweet with malts and banana, and some hoppy bitterness with a slight apple touch that resembles cheap industrial lagers. Decent beer, better than expected. Not really sure about this STRONG thingy, though.
