COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled, Pasteurised.
This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

16.9 oz. bottle from Sam’s, $1.99. Pours a medium clear copper with a fluffy white head. Leaves pretty decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is mostly caramelized banana, a touch of that fake candied banana, but not overly artificial. Flavor is moderately sweet malt notes with moderate banana flavor. It actually does taste quite a bit like banana bread. Finish is mildly bittered and clean, with a soft aftertaste of ripe banana. Medium body, fairly crisp carbonation. Strange beer, but pretty tasty and definitely worth a try.

Sweet banana bread flavor. Very watery feel. Little to no aroma. It accomplishes the flavor they were after but failed to incorporate it into an enjoyable beer.

Bue en bouteille de 50cl à la Paris Craft Beer Show, couleur cuivrée, peu de mousse et peu de d’effervescence, juste un goût de banane avec un ensemble très gras.

Amber colored beer with small head; clear. Well, there’s clearly a lot of bananas in aroma, but also some yeast/cheese and bread. Very small hint of rag. Medium bitterness, quite high sweetness. The texture is frothy, carbonation high and body stands between medium and full.

Love this beer but all bananas... smells great if you enjoy baking, taste malty & like banana bread. Have never poured it alone, always from the bottle. Not broad on the pallet, mostly all banana.

Bottle, bbd 21.3.15 Dark bronze - brown with a white head. Indeed banana, some cinnamon and clove, but mostly banana in the nose. Tastes very fruity, ripe banana, some toffee. Full body, mildly carbonated, surupy mouthfeel and banana finish. Very banana-ish then.

500ml bottle, work leaving present. Sparkling orange gold colour, white foam head and aroma of banana, fruity, vanilla. Taste is sweetish bready malt & banana flavour, with caramel, toffee, vanilla notes and light bitterness. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry bready earthy finish. Quite OK.

Well, it’s definitely a banana bread beer. Overly sweet focus on banana flavor without really holding up the beer end of things. Meh.
