Bottled, Pasteurised.
This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

A: Pours a crystal clear pinkish color almost more like an apple juice color. Rapidly dissipating head. S: There is definitely banana present in the nose, that is quite certain. There also seems to be some spicy notes? T: Flat with a lot of umami here. Tanic aftertaste. There a little bit of spices (nutmeg?). M: Light on the tongue, medium amount of carbonation, suits the rest of the beer quite well. D: Definitely drinkable. Strangely refreshing. Not bad for a gimmick beer. Serving type: bottle

Bottle from Binny's poured in a standard pint glass. Nice aroma, tastes as you would expect as previous reviews state. As a fan of bananas, I really enjoyed this one. I hesitated at first, but picked up a bottle due to low cost. I was glad that I did. Will be buying again. Cheers! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bought to try a long time ago on vacation and was very pleasantly surprised. Had very fresh, fruity banana flavours. Fond memories!

I like to try new and different beers. Often times the trial beer gets dumped out. I Tried this then first time this weekend. It was a real treat. You can smell a faint banana aroma. It goes down very smooth its not sweet has no bite or bad after taste. Its pretty pricey but I would buy it again.

Pours a golden amber, aroma of bananas, hops, bread, pretty simple to explain, taste like dipping a piece of banana bread in beer. It is a must to try.

Is exactly what it says. Can’t go wrong with something that tastes exactly like explained. If you don’t like banana bread, don’t get it.

M.A. 12-03-15 (1161-010814)

500 ml bottle into imperial pint glass, best before 11/14/2014. Pours fairly crystal clear deep copper/amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big ripe banana, toast, brown bread, nuttiness, light caramel, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of banana, dark/bready malt, and light hop notes; with good strength. Taste of ripe banana, toast, brown bread, nuttiness, light caramel, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light earthy/herbal bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of banana, toast, brown bread, nuttiness, light caramel, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Nice balance and solid robustness of banana, dark/bready malt, and light hop flavors; with a good malt/fruit balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly dry mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good fruit beer. Good balance and solid robustness of banana, dark/bready malt, and light hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A bit one dimensional, but it accomplishes what it advertises. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Bottle from Morrison in Cowes shared with McTapps. Nose of a perfect banan a is maybe a nice thing and coninuing it with that taste is even bitter but that crispy, slightly bitter aftertaste kills all the nice moments mentioned before. I hate that unbalanced finish with its touch of straw and spruce. Therefore no top score.

Bottle bought at Morrisons on the Isle of Wight. Pours out in a deep clear amber colour with low head and medium body. Aroma of artifical bananas. Taste of artifical bananas, banana yoghurt, leaves and sugar. Awful stuff , I couldn’t really enjoy it.

Drank from the bottle. Aroma is yeast, banana, and hay. Taste is bananas, vanilla, walnuts, and bread. Medium bodied beer with moderate carbonation. Sweet on the tongue, not a bad aftertaste, and the beer is slightly oily. Not bad
