bannedrew (1), England does not count Jan 4, 2008 Possibly my new favourite beer. A medium density but packed with a refreshing flavour and a tangy after taste. Carbonation is just right for me. nickleslic (1), chicago, Illinois, USA does not count Mar 9, 2008 What a pleasant suprise ! This beer is well recieved in chicago, as it sold out everywhere. Rob_Bestwick (555), Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England Mar 7, 2003 Banana nose with hints of toffee, pours with a dark tawny hue, banana and toffee taste with malt undertones, full bodied with a good solid aftertaste. Englander_1986 (51), Middlesbrough, England Nov 11, 2006 I’m drinking this beer as I write this lol. The aroma is extremely strong, yet sweet, the scent of banana hits you immediately as you open the bottle. It’s appearance is a golden brown, with a small head when poured into a glass. In my opinion it is too fizzy to drink from the bottle, it’s much easier to drink wen left in the fridge open for an hour or so, but thats my opinion. The flavour is strong, and after a while can become sickly, but still enjoyable for a once in a while drink -- I cant see myself drinking bottle after bottle of this. Either way, I highly rec. this drink to anyone who wishes to try new ales. mckeowbc (2), , Maryland, USA does not count Sep 6, 2008 2008 bottle. Could smell the banana more than I could taste it. The banana flavor hits you a bit in the back of the tongue. Calling it "banana bread" beer is probably a bit of a misnomer, but it is a very likable beer. No overly strong, or intense flavors.
