Commercial Description:
Bottled, Pasteurised.
This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

This Ale pours a deep orange gold color from a 500ml bottle. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity and sweet, with lots of banana and some nutmeg. A light to medium bodied ale. The malts are fruit, caramel and sweet, with some banana flavor. The hops are mild and earthy. Its kind of mild and light, and has some banana bread quality to it, but sorry to say, its really kind of boring. AH well. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Bottle. Medium sized off-white head that mostly expired, very little lacing, visible carbonation, transparent, and a gold hue. The aroma was very much bananas and some spicyness. Ditto for the flavor. Mildly tingly mouthfeel and light-medium in body. Over-the-top banana flavor IMO and a little went a long way for me. Just too much banana flavor! Definitely not a beer I want to have again. Next!

Bottled. Pours cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet ripe bananas and wheat. The initial flavor has a hint of banana but you really get the full flavor as it fades away. Some floral hops with a bit of dryness in the finish. The banana isn’t over powering, but gets more noticable towards the finish.

Clear deep amber with medium head. Sweet with fairly artificial banana and caramel notes.

dark gold pour with an enticing aroma of banana and spices like a german hefe, but taste isn’t as consistent.
