Bottle. Pours gold! With slight white head. Toasty caramel malts and hop aroma. Slight grassy hops, caramel malt, some decent bitterness. Ah, reminds me of British pubs. Certainly nothing remarkable here, but it’s simply a really good bitter.

500 ml clear bottle from LCBO. Pours a clear orange gold with small white head. Light grassy/floral nose with a touch of skunkiness (thanks clear bottle) present. Taste is mostly grassy with bit of honeyish sweetness and a bitter, slightly woody finish. Not great but I’d like to try it other than in a clear bottle.

500 ml bottle from the LCBO. pours copper with a white head. skunk and oxidization aroma. if there ever was something to this beer is has been completely destroyed by the clear glass bottle. i have no idea why any brewer would package in clear glass. oh and the beer might have been ok before it got ruined by the packaging. also the LCBO should store a clear glass 4.7% bitter on the top shelf of an unrefridgerated import section.

500ml bottle. Light amber colour, light hop aroma. Light again in the mouth with a non-descript hop and malt flavour. Easy drinking but a little dull and un-interesting.

Bottled. An amber beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and elderflowers. The flavor is sweet with notes of elderflowers and straw, leading to a bitter finish. Nothing special.
