Cask at The Coachmakers Arms, Hanley. A pale amber colour with a medium white head. Aroma of grain, cereal, some orange, subtle apple and slight caramel. Taste of grain, orange, slight apple, some straw, slight caramel and maybe floral hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A soft apple bitterness in the finish. Cask @ The Nags Head, Shrewsbury, with Soph, my sister-in-law & her partner. Pours clear gold with fluffy white head. Aroma is nondescript with faint mirage-like hints of citrus. Taste is extremely light, watery & bland. Struggled to find flavour of any kind in this pointless, insipid brew.
