Bottle. Poured a dark amber with an off-white head that settles with time. Faint fruity aroma. The flavor is sweet with caramel and fruits. Medium body, creamy, and just a hint of spices.

Colour is ruby, small off-white head, there is some lacing, small bubbles. Aroma is fruity sweet, jam and honey smells amost like a doppelbock, the presence of hops in the aroma is not very strong. Flavour has a distinct bitterness, but for a premium bitter it is also rather sweet. Mouthfeel is rather lively. This is a very nice bitter, maybe lacking a bit of complexity, but still very enjoyable Serving type: bottle

Pours to a great head, was expecting a rich golden colour, but instead the beer is a rich ruby red! Hoppy aroma from the glass which is stronger from the empty bottle. I guess the strongest flavour that comes through is a mild cherry taste. What I really like though is the dry finish, which lasts for quite a while.

(From old notes). Bottle. Copper color. Nice fruity, nutty aroma. Flavour is nutty and fruity with some caramel too. Ends bitter and nice. A good beer.

On-tap at the Brick Store Pub. Poured to a bright reddish-amber color with thin white head that lingered to mid-glass and left very good lacing. Nose was malty dark fruit with just a hint of spices and hops. Mouthfeel of this medium-bodied beer was tingly and slightly dry, while the flavor followed the malty dark fruit sweetness of the nose, with a hint of toffee. Finish not as dryly bitter as I would like, but not bad.

Pours a deep burgundy with a nice cream coloured head. Smell is thick and malty with maybe just a hint of spiciness. Flavour is very similar. Very sweet and caramely. The finish is spicy and just a touch bitter. Not much hops otherwise. Carbonation is appropriate for the style, and the mouthfeel is pretty chewy. It’s nothing too exciting, but it’d make a nice session beer.
