Bottle. Pours a ruby colour with good off-white creamy head and very good lace. Aroma hinted of roasted malt, caramel, toffee, aromatic hops, lemongrass, and grape. Good balance on the palate between sweet lush malt and mild bitter hops. Dry and lingering bitterness on finish with an undertone of sweet spice.

the flavour is too strong and powerful and this ale also leaves an unpleasant after taste which lasts for a long time. Not a great overall impression and tastes like the Ale version of Red Stripe.

Bottled 50cl. It pours a beautiful dark amber beer with a tanned head. The nose is of raisins, caramel, apricots and brown sugar. Caramel, apricots and raisins in the taste. Notes of brown sugar showing up. Rather sweet. Nice lacework. Medium to full bodied. Low bitterness. Huge amounts of candy floss in the finish.

Copper hue with a small head. Aroma of spice. Sweet and spicy. Better than the average English ale. Better at low temps. Nice beer.

Pours a dark reddish brown color with a small off-white frothy head. Aroma is very malty and fruity, mostly dark fruits like plum and raisin. Flavor starts out very malty and sweet. The hop presence never really appears and it seems only to get sweeter through the finish, to an almost candy-like taste. Maybe a tiny bit of bitterness lingered but it seems a little too sweet. Medium body. Not too bad, just a bit too sweet and not bitter enoguh to rank higher.
