I am the Bombardier. Yossarian, this is a solid beer that tastes like the changing of the guard. I had this right after the Hen’s Tooth. I was practically singing God Save the Queen! Great balance, good brew. Tasted like a bitter, or an ale with a little bit more. I enjoyed it.

Pours a vey nice looking aged brass color. head is medium hight made of bigger bubbles. Nose is fairly weak, a bit sweat, malty and a bit of bread/yeast. Taste was very watery for to me, very thin. clean, yeasty with lots of sweat maltiness. finishes clean and thin.

I’m actually suprised to find that I haven’t rated this one yet. I’ve had it several times actually, and while it really depends on how old the bottle is and how well it was handled, it’s usually a pretty enjoyable drink. The beer pours out a dark amber color, with a lean to the reddish side of the spectrum. Head was off-white, 3-finger thick and creamy but it quickly reduced to nothing more than a thin film. Aroma is mostly malt forward, but some fruitiness comes crashing in after awihle. After it warmed up a bit some light tobacco notes come calling, which I enjoyed. But sometimes I get those notes, and others I don’t so I wonder if that’s due to age? Mouthfeel is a tad bit watery. Flavors of toasted bread, malts, and dried plums. There was a odd "dusty" quality about the flavor that I also picked up that I hadn’t noticed before, so I thought I’d include that with the review. A nice session beer.

16oz can poured into a Sam Adams special glass. WB pours surprisingly dark with a large rocky head that leaves a lot of lacing. The aroma is mostly malt and lacks a distinctive hoppy character. The flavor is mild and robust. The hop bill is impressive but it doesn’t come through strong or overwelming. This is a well-balanced beer with a dry quick finish.

From tap at Ørsted Ølbar. Pours golden orange/brown with a dense light yellowish head. Caramel malt, light butterish and mild spiced aroma. Flavour is light fruity mixed with caramel malt. Dry bitterness rising out of the malt and giving a dry bitter finish. Smooth flavour and mouthfeel, almost creamy.

Pours a clear copper body with a big brown head. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, toffee and American chocolate. Flavor is malty sweet with caramel, chocolate, coffee and a bit earthy. Medium body, thin mouthfeel. A very drinkable beer that can be enjoyed in quantity.
