The beer itself is definitely not the finest bitter in the world, but the choices for real British bitters in the United States in the bottle are slim pickings indeed. This bottle of Bombardier was a classic in the style, smooth and drinkable with a strong but subtle hop flavoring bolstered by steady florals. MrEcted1 (144), Wheat Ridge, Colorado, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 5, 2008 A very good, clean English ale. Nice head that doesn’t stay around too long. Nice golden-redish hue. Has a lot of English character (toffee, a bit fruity, malty). Also, it’s a good value at around $3.00 a bottle. Nothing jaw dropping, but a nice, clean ale. thepegjett (94), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
