Dark amber pour with an inch-thick head. Soft malty aroma with a touch of Goldings. Mild malty taste with a slight bitterswet finish. Very mild and smooth and typical of an English bitter. Nice.

Bottle.Poured a bronze and large head. Very enjoyable, great aftertaste and nice filling on the palate. Taste of toffee and earthy hops for a nice bitter

Can (500ml) 4.3%. Poured a bronze with ruby highlights and a fair size creamy white head which was mostly lasting. Aroma was of caramel, butterscotch, shortbread and some candy sugar somewhere in the mix. Taste was a fair bitterness with biscuity notes, more caramel and shortbread, some toffee and a fair dose of nuts. Body was medium with a dry texture, creamy mouthfeel and good finish

Pours deep, dark amber, with a big lasting cream colored head. Aroma is butterscotch, earthy hops and some yeasty characteristics. Flavor starts with a sweet caramel malt character, balanced by a nice, earthy hop presence. Body is a little thin, and finish is a bit too sweet. Overall, a nice beer, but not a beer geek beer. This is a good session beer.

Pours dark brown with small head. Aromas of piney hops, citrus fruits and earth. Interesting flavour: sweet citrus, grassy/ earthy Mouthfeel a bit thin though- doesn’t complement the robust flavour.
