Pours a deep amber color with a tan head. Aroma is malty caramel and a hint of earthy hops. Flavor is malty, caramel, some roasted malts, and a earthy bitter finish.

On tap at the brickstore. Clear amber/copper color with a decent white head and nice white lacing. Flavor has that slight english hop bitter back end with a little bit of crystal sugar sweetness at the front end. On OK session beer but not something I would seek out on a special occasion.

Bottle, dated 31/12/07; Nose of fruitiness with some light vanilla; rust colored with a medium, glass-lacing beige head; flavor has some pepperiness, caramel, light hops, and a tiny bit of a bitter finish!

Savannah, Ga. - Habersham Beverage Warehouse, classic looking 1Pint 3.25 oz bottle. Dark copper pour with a clingy off-white head that sticks around a while. Creamy aroma with hints of vanilla and butter. Flavor has a nice underlying subtle dry bitterness to it with some faint citrus notes, a hint of Christmas spices and some nuttiness. Slightly creamy mouthfeel with a tangy back end. Good session material

568ml bottle.
Pours a clear dark ruby amber. Has a full creamy tan head that sticks around a good while. Leaves a fair bit of nice curtainy lacing. Smells sweet and tart. A little bit of honey and grainy bread. Flavour is nicely bitter up front on a bed of roasty malts and some citrus and grapefruit in the finish. Slightly reminiscent of a good IPA. Nice palate, full body, medium smooth feel, soft carbonation.Very nice surprise considering the last Bitter I’ve tried. Good drink.
