Sep 3, 2007 Smells of yeasty. Pours an amber color with a nice big fluffy off white head. Tastes like caramel, sugar, and malt. Good solid bitter with a soft after taste.

Aug 26, 2007 500 ml can. Clear mahogany body with a nice beige head, a really good-looking beer. Aroma is caramel malt, and delicious hoppy. Flavor is also caramel malt, with a fine hoppynes and quite fruity. This is a fresh, bitter and tasty beer, somehow a bit one-dimensional and slightly watery but I like it a lot. I often tend to be more positive to a more average beer when I have this beer alone without anything else other to compare with, but what the heck. I think I might just love beer as a general rule, and this beer taste great today.

Aug 22, 2007 568ml bottle. Pours the typical deep orange-red, with a small cap, that’s dense and lasts. The aroma is mostly malts, fruity, with some alcohol. The taste is pretty much the same with a fruity after-taste and a minor hop presence. It’s dry for sure, and the ever so slightly higher alcohol content is actually sort of evident. Decent but not out of this world. The aroma is actually pretty unpleasant. I don’t understand the high score, maybe I’m just not a fan of this style.

Aug 9, 2007 Nice clear redish brown pouer with a bubbly light tan head. Malts and spices in the aroma. A bit of an earthy nose. Very rich taste. Very thick, lots of flavour. Strong malts, caramel, grains, spices, some sweet fruit in the aftertaste. Rather complex ale. Rather good as well. Not sure I could session this.

Aug 7, 2007 Pours dark amber into an English pint. Offwhite micro head subsides to fully skim surface. Fig and caramel aromas. Thin caramel with a dry, lasting bitter finish.
