568ml bottle. Pours the typical deep orange-red, with a small cap, that’s dense and lasts. The aroma is mostly malts, fruity, with some alcohol. The taste is pretty much the same with a fruity after-taste and a minor hop presence. It’s dry for sure, and the ever so slightly higher alcohol content is actually sort of evident. Decent but not out of this world. The aroma is actually pretty unpleasant. I don’t understand the high score, maybe I’m just not a fan of this style.

Nice clear redish brown pouer with a bubbly light tan head. Malts and spices in the aroma. A bit of an earthy nose. Very rich taste. Very thick, lots of flavour. Strong malts, caramel, grains, spices, some sweet fruit in the aftertaste. Rather complex ale. Rather good as well. Not sure I could session this.

Pours dark amber into an English pint. Offwhite micro head subsides to fully skim surface. Fig and caramel aromas. Thin caramel with a dry, lasting bitter finish.

(Notes from memory). Very refreshing. Bitter, malty, balanced. I thought it tasted a bit as if remains of yeast was still in the bottle (a sort of sourish sensation), allthough I am pretty sure that in fact was not the case. However, I liked it and I liked the beer a lot more than I thought I would.

copper hue with beige head, the aroma is dominated by chocolate with caramel tone blended in alcohol. fruity flavor and coffee in the background, the body is firm enough to balance the relatively high hop rate. a beer to nurse on.
