dj (418), Gloucestershire, England Apr 18, 2006 Bottle, 568ml, 5.2% ABV. An average diminishing head. A nice strong malty, fruity (citrus) aroma. Clear dark amber appearance. An average bitter but somewhat watery finish. My bottle had been mistreated before I got it and was leaking a bit and flat carbonation-wise, but I’ve tried not to mark it down for this... anders37 (4516), Malmö, Sweden Apr 13, 2006 Draught. Dark ruby colour with an off-white head. Fruity caramel aroma. Malty fruity flavor with some bitterness and some hints of caramel. Malty bitter aftertaste. Lunkie (1020), Glen Iris, Australia Apr 8, 2006 Slight hop malt aroma. Clear red brown colour with good head and lacing. Malt hop flavour. Flat palate. yngwie (4880), Kristiansand, Norway Apr 7, 2006 Can. Almost copper-colored with a fluffy off-white head, leaving nice lacings. Very mild aroma of fruitiness, hops and roastiness. The flavor is a bit boring, but pleasant, with caramel, hops and fruity sweetness. Nice, pleasant finish. Sweet and heavy with almost no bitterness. The sweetness is almost to much. gnoff (3560), Göteborg, Sweden Mar 13, 2006 Bottle at Score Sportsbar, Gothenburg, Sweden. My version had 5.2% ABV. Nice red-brown color, white head. Fresh a bit spicy hoppy scent. Nice bitterness. Taste is fairly mild. KnutAlbert (3110), Oslo, Norway Mar 13, 2006 Not an outstanding bitter, perhaps, but as good as it gets when canned. Some malt and lots of aromatic hops. Very easy drinking and enjoyable on a night when you don’t want anything more complex.
Slightly weaker version availoable in Norway.
