Pours a dark ruby red with thin, wispy head. Aroma of toffee and a hint of licorice. More toffee and caramel malt up front with a slight sweet fruitiness to go with more licorice through the middle. Disappointing mouth feel and watery finish but pleasant bitterness.
I have fond memories of a pint of this on the pump but underwhelmed at the moment. dj (419), Gloucestershire, England

A nice strong malty, fruity (citrus) aroma. Clear dark amber appearance. An average bitter but somewhat watery finish.
