It’s a rich, reddish-mahogany color with a creamy, well-sustained & good-lacing tan head. The aroma is rich and malty with light pome fruits, a nut or two, and some herbal hops. This is very creamy in the mouth, quite smooth & easy to imbibe. The flavor is a big chewy malt with pears and nuts and an earthy, bitter finish... splashed on by some sweetness. I wish this was more readily available in the Chicago area.
