Jun 6, 2005 Looks good in and out of the bottle. Lovely, dark colour and hoppy aroma. Malt in the taste and a satisfying bitter finish. A really good English bitter. The pride of little Bedfordshire (my home county).

May 21, 2005 Poured a good dark copper, frothy, a good mouthfeel, a little spice a little nice, try it twice. Makes me think a little hop, another gulp, can’t stop. mmmm.

Rich, fruity flavour. Medium to full bodied. Rounded malty taste. Sweet aftertaste. Somewhat yeasty and hints of herbs.

Apr 23, 2005 Draught. Discreet and persistent foam. Extinguished and firm aspect, a lot little bubbly. Intense red color. Bitter scent and herbal hoppiness. Dry and deeply bitter taste, little fresh and enough persistent. To me, badly draught.
