This is odd... the label of the beer I bought is identical to the picture, but my bottle is 5.2% alcohol instead of the 4.7% listed here. And nowhere does it call this an ESB. Anyway... I like this beer. Just the right mix of ale flavor and bitterness. Not too much and too little. An excellent English Ale.

Red color, clear, big offwhite head. Aroma is soft roasted malths, mild fruity, light caramel and toffee, with english bittering hops a little metallic. Taste is a bit tart, medium bitterness even if a sugary edge remains. Finish is quite aromatic and mild bitter. Texture is somehow dusty, light body, sharp dry finish. Easy to drink.

500ml can. (5.2% ABV) Pours a clear copper with a medium, long lasting, beige head that laces. Weak aroma of caramel malt, bread and light fruit. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, caramel, bread and dried fruit with a dry, bitter, hoppy finish. Medium body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Not bad.

A deep copper body, very little carbonation, no lace left on my glass. Aroma a little sour, and malty. Flavor was simiar to aroma, with a very slight fruit and tobacco presence. Overall it was o.k. but i dont see buying it again.Originally rated on 10/6/2008.

Nice bottle but no detail information about the hops, malts and drinktemperature. Clear brown beer with a cappuccino head, roasty, caramel, light body, texture is thin, herbs, bitter, for me not, (I have 0.5l bottle with best-before 14/06/17 and batch L6166A 10:00)

Has a dirty amber appearance with a thin head. Not much going on aroma wise. Some caramel and malts. The taste is of toffee, roasted malts, and a light white pepper finish. Fairly sweet with low bitterness. This is a good session ale. Price Paid: Free bottle.

pityu (681) - Budapest, HUNGARY - AUG 9, 2016
Bottle - Clear reddish colour, medium and quickly melting off-white head. Fruity aromas with some breadcrust, herbal hops and caramel. Taste is well balanced bittersweet with some caramel, dried fruits, herbal hops. Light to medium body, soft carbonation, a bit watery mouthfeel, dry finish. Easy drinkable ale with decent fruitiness. Well balanced, but not a big one.
